Website Design - Sept 2024 - Present
After designing this portfolio website, I was asked by a children’s book author and former Disney animator to help design her personal website. I realized there was a market for mature individuals who found themselves unfamiliar with website-building software such as Squarespace and Wix, so I began to take freelance jobs on the side while continuing to work at my part-time job.
Copywriting Intern - Jul 2023 - Aug 2023
I was afforded a valuable opportunity to work overseas when I was hired as a seasonal intern at WET Designs, a Singapore-based printing and clothing customisation company. I revamped and rebranded the copy on the company website in order to better reflect the goals and branding of the company.
Trusted Life Care - Jun 2021-Sept 2021
Worked as an in-home personal caregiver/assistant to the elderly. Responsibilities included cooking meals, walking with clients, administering medication, checking vital signs, and assisting with chores. One of my favorite jobs simply because of how fulfilling it felt to be able to directly help others.
Aquarium of the Pacific - Jun 2018 - Feb 2020
Worked as an exhibit interpreter and educator.
Responsibilities included interacting with and teaching guests, giving presentations and speaking to large crowds on the microphone, and feeding sharks (the small ones). Probably the coolest job I’ve ever had/will have.

Ad Team - Sept 2023 - Jun 2024
One of three copywriters selected to work with Ad Team, a student-run collective consisting of some of the most talented students in the School of Journalism and Communication - not to brag or anything! We worked under the directive of one major corporation to bring a large-scale campaign to life. During my tenure, we developed a large-scale marketing campaign for Tide focusing on changing laundry habits.
As a member of the copy team, I was responsible for basically anything that required text, from documentary-style video scripts to marketing emails.
Taking Up Space - November 2022 - June 2024
Served as a Co-Director of Taking Up Space, a club at the UO founded as a space for POC entering the creative industry.
I started out as the group’s copywriter, working on a variety of tasks such as website copy, promotional outreach materials, and presentations. After continuing to support the club’s endeavours I became one of the two directors taking charge of duties such as outreach, event planning, and hiring. I was also responsible for the social media copy and graphics.
Allen Hall Advertising - September 2022 - June 2023
Collaborated with two separate teams of people to work with local businesses on various marketing projects. I serve the role of copywriter on both, working on projects like short videos, restaurant menus, promotional zines, and more to improve customer experience and brand identity.
